Evaluation: GRUNDLOVSFESTEN

GRUNDLOVSFESTEN was created to raise awareness of our democracy by spreading a new - or reviving an old - tradition of celebrating Constitution Day. The aim of the project is to establish a tradition of a children's party on Constitution Day.

The aim of the evaluation is to find out whether the project and the activities of GRUNDLOVSFESTEN contribute to creating a festive tradition with children in the centre. It is hoped that the celebrations will increase children's - and eventually the whole population's - understanding and involvement in Danish democracy.

The project will run until 2027, so the evaluation will focus on whether and how it can be sharpened and developed to better achieve its goals in the next three years.

In parallel with the parties, the organisation behind the project has developed educational material and worked on developing various collaborations. We will not be looking at these aspects in this evaluation - it only deals with the actual celebrations in the schools.
